HIGHEST POINT SCORE 2010: Highest point score is an award given to one junior and one senior rider that has accumulated the most points over the year. A 65cc riders points for Club Championship Series will be a total of Saturday nights points plus either 75% of Mini Bikes points or total Natural Terrain points whichever is higher. And for Mr Moto-X Series a 65cc riders points will be the total of Saturday nights points plus either Mini Bikes or Natural Terrain points (whichever is higher).For more details please contact Susan on 0412 668 320. Greg Moss will be holding a two day riding school at our track on September 11th and 12th. Please book in early so Greg can accommodate for the amount of riders and will bring an assistant coach, so you get the best riding advise possible. Groms/Girls on the Gas:
The Girls and Groms on the Gas competition returned to Darwin last weekend for the third year in a row having great attendance with 21 competitors. This event is a one and a half day riding school and then riders compete in 4 different categories - Lap times, on-bike technique, fitness test and public speaking. The winner for the Grom (under 16) and girl will represent the Northern Territory in the final showdown in Victoria at the end of the year. The National winner will receive a Honda CRF250, coaching and numerous sponsors for 2011.
The female numbers were down a little this year with only 2 competing, but both riders showed large improvements over the weekend. Mia Hewitt just new to the sport took out the title, but little blue eyed 7 year old Shea Abela stealing everyone's heart with your inspirational spirit and talent. The boys took advantage of the riding tips battling it out however long time rider Daniel Pickering saw his dreams come true as he was crown 2010 NT's Grom on the Gas.
Congradulations to all competitors and good luck to both Mia and Daniel.
Updated: 27/07/10 NT TITLES: Congratulations to all competitors and especially all the helpers that made this year's Titles a huge success. A big thanks to the working committee for all the hours put in prior, during and after the event. Scores are up on web for your perusal.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: Natural Terrain Round One this SUNDAY 1st August 2010. Sup regs will be available soon. The Natural Terrain Track is closed but mini bike and moto-x tracks are still open, but will close this Sunday. Moto-x Round 1 will be Fri 20th & Sat 21st August.
GROMS/GIRLS ON THE GAS: Will return to Darwin on August 14th & 15th. The track will be closed for this event. For info and details log onto www.leehoganracing.com.au. This is a two day riding school and the winner of the competition is given an opportunity to represent NT and compete against other states to receive a factory Honda ride for 2011 and other sponsorship deals.
